Your blog can represent your own point of view or, in a professional setting, can instead represent a company's personality. Whether it's a company blog, personal blog, or a blog for writing professionals to communicate with their online audience, in this detailed 8 week course you will build your blog under the guidance of an industry expert.

Ideal for

This is an introductory course for those wishing to create a new business or personal blog from scratch. Although not designed for those who already have a blog or already know how to create a blog, this course may be suitable for people wishing to learn how to refine their blogging techniques. Blogging for Business aims to give an expert's view of the online publishing world to those with solid writing skills, so that they can communicate with their online audience effectively and regularly.

At the end of this course you will emerge as a professional blogger with practical online media knowledge. Your fully functioning blog will be ready to build an audience and gain attention!

Pre-requisites

A basic understanding of social media and ability to navigate a PC or Mac interface along with good writing skills are necessary. Participants must also have or start social networking accounts.

Course Presenter - Phoebe Montague

As Editor of Melbourne based blog ‘Lady Melbourne’ Phoebe Montague's commentary and style has earned her a reputation as one of Australia’s key fashion bloggers. Having founded Lady Melbourne in 2007, the blog has grown to a social media reach of over 50K unique likes, fans and followers across platforms like Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Phoebe has a postgraduate degree in journalism at RMIT and guest lectures in blogging, social media and journalism at various corporate and educational events.
