The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) was endorsed by National Quality Council (NQC) of Australia on the 12th May 2010. The qualification is essential for those who are responsible for presenting and assessing accredited training to meet identified competency requirements in vocational education and training areas and in the workplace. It is also designed to provide workplace trainers and assessors with a range of delivery and assessment skills.

There is a requirement to deliver two sessions of training to a group outside of class hours. If you do not have access to groups in your workplace, it is strongly recommended that you contact the course coordinator prior to enrolling to discuss how you may achieve this.
By satisfactorily completing the certificate, you will be qualified to deliver and assess nationally accredited programs in a registered training organisation such as TAFE, private provider or in a workplace context.
This program requires a high level of commitment and, as such, is better suited to people with some training experience. Basic computer skills including word processing and internet use essential.

Only Australian Citizens, New Zealand Citizens and clients with Permanent Residency or Humanitarian Visas are eligible to enrol. Temporary/Spousal Visas are not accepted.
Workplace based assessment
Some assessment will occur during the program but additional workplace projects are required. If you do not have access to a workplace please consult with the coordinator to discuss alternative arrangements prior to enrolling in the program.
