New Diploma of Management

Whether you already have management experience or you aspire to a management position, these practical courses will provide key concepts and help you develop the skills to advance your career.

You will obtain an accredited qualification on successful completion of these three courses:

• Diploma of Management - Financial Management
• Diploma of Management - Project and Risk Management Essentials
• Diploma of Management - Recruit and Manage Staff

You can undertake only one of the courses if you don’t want to obtain the Diploma of Management. RMIT also offers a range of other business courses such as Certificate IV in Project Management, MYOB Complete Package, RG 146 Financial Compliance and more.

PR and social media

Learn how social media can give you the edge over your PR competition, with our Media Relations and Social Media course.

This course is part of our Public Relations Certificate, a series of relevant and cutting-edge PR courses developed by RMIT and endorsed by the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA):

• Media Relations and Social Media
• PR Principles and Practices
• PR Writing
• Strategic PR and Planning

The courses are designed for people who already work in public relation or those who wish to enter the industry and provide intensive industry-oriented training to enhance and develop career opportunities.

Thinking of a career in interior design?

Don't leave your new year's resolutions for next year. Enrol now for an interior design and decoration course and start developing your creative side or preparing for that much dreamed about career change.

The Interior Decoration Design Series is a complete series of courses that allow you to learn about the various aspects of interior design and decoration, from start to finish. Or you can choose to do a stand alone course.

This series is an ideal opportunity if you are currently employed or have a desire to be employed in the interior design and decoration industry, or if you wish to pursue further studies in this area. No matter what your goal, these short courses are up-to-date and relevant, reflecting industry trends and providing you with current skills and knowledge.

Robin Blood, RMIT School of Design’s Commercial CAD Manager, is one of them. Robin has top qualifications in industrial, furniture and sustainable design. He has worked with blue chip industrial design companies including Diadem, Schiavello, Neopurple and CIDA.

Robin also teaches with outstanding results and oversees many of our short courses, including:

• AutoCAD for Designers – Level 1

Flexible OH&S training

RMIT offers a few options for those wanting to obtain their OH&S certification.

You can complete the five-day course in two weeks or, if you can’t be away from your job for too long, you can choose to attend one session per week over five weeks.

Our OH&S courses are practical and approved by WorkSafe. We offer an OH&S Initial Level 5 Day Course that shows you how to deal with requirements under the OHS Act 2004, as well as give you the knowledge to develop the skills to carry out your OH&S responsibilities, and an OH&S 1 Day Refresher Program

RMIT can also tailor OHS learning to your organisation’s requirements. All programs can be delivered exclusively at your workplace and tailored to suit your industry.
